Celebrate the Fourth at PMCPOA’s Old-Fashioned Picnic

PMCPOA is throwing a good old-fashioned picnic in the park on Thursday, July 4th from Noon to 4 p.m. at Lampkin Park. There will be live music by Ali Kowalski & Friends and games for the whole family. Picnic baskets are available for pre-purchase at the front desk and must be purchased by July 1 at 2 p.m. One basket feeds a family of four for $30.00 and includes eight pieces of cold fried chicken, potato salad, coleslaw, watermelon and pie. Baskets will be distributed at the park. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and have some fun!

Community Appreciation Day Brings a Whole Slate of Events

The annual Community Appreciation Day takes place on Saturday, July 27, kicking off with a Town Hall Round Table at 10 a.m. in the Condor Room with Kern County officials. Next up, free hot dogs and hamburgers will be cooked and served by the PMCPOA Board of Director from 1 to 3 p.m., with Bandit performing on the driving range and bounce houses and games available for kids. A Concert on the Greens with Box Car 7 will take place from 4:30 to 7 p.m., and the day will conclude with live music in the Lounge by “Dive Bar Messiahs” from 7 to 11 p.m.
