2017 Election

The PMCPOA Board of Directors Election Filing Deadline is April 10, 2017
The filing deadline for potential PMCPOA Board of Director candidates is Monday, April 10  at 5 p.m. Letters of Intent, the Candidate Filing Form, the biography/resume and the signed Acknowledgement of Election Materials form are all due at that time.
Once the Board of Directors approves the Election Packet during its April meeting, the Corporate Secretary will direct that the approved packet be submitted for printing.
The next step in the PMC election process will be the “Meet the Candidates” members’ open forums, which are scheduled this year for Saturday, May 13th from 1-3 p.m. and Friday evening, May 19th, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Both are in the Condor Room. The forums are hosted by the Election Committee and moderated by the Corporate Secretary.
The Election Packet is mailed by the Inspector of Elections to the members no later than 30 days prior to the annual meeting of the members.
The Annual Meeting of the Members is held at 1 p.m. on the third Saturday in June, which is June 17 this year.

Board of Directors Elects New Officers

The 2016-2017 Board of Directors nominated new officers during a Special Organizational Regular Meeting on Saturday, July 16 just prior to the regular monthly meeting of the Board. The officers were then elected during the regular meeting.
The officers for the new fiscal year are: Chair, Bill Gurtner; Vice Chair, John Cantley; Secretary, Sandy Browne; and Treasurer, Tom McMullen.

The Results are In!
Browne, Gurtner and Cantley are New Directors

      The PMCPOA Annual Meeting of Members took place on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 1 p.m. With quorum met, the Board election went forward and the new directors were announced.

The winners of the three, three-year seats are: Sandy Browne with 558 votes, William Gurtner with 549 votes and John Cantley with 385 votes. Anthony Ziegler with 356 votes, Keith Nette with 380 votes and Ross Canton with 268 votes were not elected. Additionally, the three bylaws up for vote were passed.
    The total number of members in good standing who were eligible to vote for this election was 2,817 of the 2,946 total number of members. There were 129 members duly suspended. The Inspector of Elections determined that a quorum of 25 percent was 705, which was obtained as defined by the Bylaws. A total of 902 members were represented by properly submitted ballots, with 27 write-in votes.
Prior to adjournment for the vote count, the 2015 Annual Meeting of the Membership minutes were approved.
After the vote count, the regular July Board meeting reconvened and the winners were announced. After the announcement, the new directors were asked to join the Board and take the oath of office. The 2016-2017 Board officers will be elected at the next Board meeting, which will take place on Saturday, July 16. Thanks to all who cast votes in this year’s election.

2015-’16 Board of Directors Elects Officers

The 2015-2016 Board of Directors nominated new officers during a Special Organizational Regular Meeting on Saturday, Aug. 15 just prior to the regular monthly meeting of the Board. The officers were then elected during the regular meeting. The Board also appointed Sandy Browne to fill the remainder of Tim Bridwell’s term.
The officers for the new fiscal year are: Chair, John Dilibert; Vice Chair, Mike Glenn; Secretary, Sandy Browne; and Treasurer, Tom McMullen.

The 2015 Election Results are In!
Garry Kemmer, Stephan Bates and Doug Wilde are newest Directors on PMCPOA Board

The PMCPOA Annual Meeting of Members took place on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 1 p.m. With quorum met, the Board election went forward and the new directors were announced.
The winners of the three, three-year seats are: Garry Kemmer with 567 votes, Stephan Bates with 563 votes and Doug Wilde with 374 votes. Eduardo Amezcua, with 334 votes, and Carolyn Smith, with 333 votes, were not elected. There were 10 write-in votes as well with less than 25 votes each. Additionally, all eight of the bylaws up for vote were passed.
The total number of members in good standing who were eligible to vote for this election was 2,833. To meet the 25 percent needed to establish quorum, 709 ballots were required. Quorum was established, with 771 ballots received as of the start of the Annual Meeting.
Prior to adjournment for the vote count, the 2014 Annual Meeting of the Membership minutes were approved.
After the vote count, the regular June Board meeting reconvened and the winners were announced. After the announcement, the new directors were asked to join the Board and take the oath of office. The 2015-2016 Board officers will be elected at the next Board meeting, which will take place on Saturday, July 18.

Tom McMullen, Gary Biggerstaff and Susan Canaan are newest Directors on PMCPOA Board

The PMCPOA Annual Meeting of Members took place on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 1 p.m. With quorum met, the Board election went forward and the new directors were announced.
The winners of the three, two-year and 11 months seats are: Tom McMullen with 715 votes, Gary Biggerstaff with 704 votes and Susan Canaan with 616 votes. Kimberly Peters, with 410 votes, was not elected. There were 19 write-in votes as well.
The total number of members in good standing for this election was 2,946, with 2,813 deemed eligible to vote. To meet the 25 percent needed to establish quorum, 704 ballots were required. Quorum was established, with 890 ballots received as of the start of the Annual Meeting.
Prior to adjournment for the vote count, the 2013 Annual Meeting of the Membership minutes were approved.
After the vote count, the regular July Board meeting reconvened and the winners were announced. After the announcement, the new directors were asked to join the Board and take the oath of office. The 2014-2015 Board officers will be elected at the next Board meeting, which will take place on Saturday, Aug. 16 at 9:30 a.m.
